  • The Second Internet: Original Characters

This page showcases original characters from our animated projects. Some are part of existing series like House of Roiland, while others come from new shows still in development. While each character belongs to their own unique world, they all share a creative lineage shaped by our evolving animation pipeline.

    What Is The Second Internet?

The Second Internet is a hybrid ARG/animated series we recently introduced in our official newsletter. It serves as the connective thread between all our creative worlds, linking projects like House of Roiland, Girl Talk, and upcoming originals into a surreal multiverse.

While it acts as the backbone of our worldbuilding, The Second Internet still stands on its own, telling a story with characters who call it home.

    Justin Roiland (House of Roiland)

This version of Justin Roiland is the chaotic protagonist of our animated satire series, House of Roiland. He’s a fictionalized, exaggerated take on the real-life creator of Rick and Morty, reimagined in a world where he’s trying to reclaim his cartoon empire from scheming network executives.

In our show Justin is disheveled, paranoid, and brilliant — an antihero navigating legacy, betrayal, and his one shot at redemption. He operates out of a cluttered garage in Burbank and frequently breaks the fourth wall.

    Unnamed Protagonist (Adult Series)

This character is the lead in our adult cartoon series that is under development. While the show is still untitled, its focus will be on mature themes like identity, burnout, and digital disconnection.

She's a European YouTuber navigating online fame and emotional complexity. She’s an influencer, but is also a deeply human character shaped by algorithms, loneliness, and fleeting connection.
