Quick Start Guide
Ten minutes from never having played to holding your first Nano.
Before you start

Make an account
Create a free FusionFall account, then sign in on the Play page. Use an email address you can access so you can recover your account.

Build a character
Choose your character’s appearance and name, then enter the world.

Land in the Future
Everyone starts in the Future, a green wrecked version of the world that shows what happens if Fuse wins. It is a tutorial with stakes. Follow the missions out of it.

Collect your first Nano
Nanos are shrunken copies of the heroes, and they fight beside you and hand you their powers. Mission givers give them out; you can carry three at a time and swap them freely.

Take the fight outward
Suburbs, then Downtown, then the Wilds, then the Darklands. Each region raises the level band and the monsters answer back harder. Bring buddies.

- W / S
- Walk forward and back
- A / D
- Strafe left and right

- Turn (arrow keys work too)
- Space
- Jump, and hold near a wall to wall jump
- Left mouse
- Attack. Hold it down, the weapon re-fires on its own cooldown
- Drag mouse
- Look around
- Mouse wheel
- Zoom the camera in and out
- Tab
- Switch weapon

- Open MY STUFF, your inventory and gear
- M
- Open the world map
- Enter
- Chat and the Nano wheel
- Escape
- Close whatever is open, or go back to character select
What to do once you can walk
- Take every mission you are offered. Mission givers are the characters standing around with an icon over their head. Missions are how you level, and how you get Nanos.
- Race the Infected Zones. Each one is a timed platforming course. Learn the route, collect the pods, and improve your time.
- Watch your Nano's stamina. A summoned Nano drains while it is out. Swap between your three rather than running one flat.
- Group up. Anything past the Suburbs goes much better with two or three people, and buddies can warp to each other.
