Halloween Candy — 10 Models & Candy Hunt Minigames
Turn your hub, parkour course or seasonal event into a Halloween candy hunt. Place colourful candy checkpoints, challenge players to beat the clock, and reward their best runs. Includes ten editable candy models, a ready-to-host resource pack and the HalloweenCandy server plugin.Included with BlackSpigot ULTRA. This is a downloadable server plugin and model pack for Minecraft Java Edition.
Two ways to play
- Timed hunts: collect the target number of candies before the countdown expires. Faster finishes rank higher.
- Pickup streaks: each candy adds time to the clock. Keep collecting until time runs out; higher candy counts rank higher.
- Personal candy displays: the plugin creates a separate set for each runner, with configurable bobbing, spinning, scale, tilt and glow.
- Run management: optional walk-in start zones, cooldowns, replay settings, one-time completion rewards and a top-ten leaderboard for each hunt.
- Custom presentation: action bar and boss bar HUD options, configurable sounds and win effects, plus editable MiniMessage player messages.

Requirements & integrations
Server target: Paper or Folia 1.21.4+. Use the Java version required by your chosen server release; the plugin is compiled for Java 21. Clients must load the supplied or merged resource pack to see the candy models. No additional plugin is required. Model Engine, MythicMobs and PacketEvents are not needed. You can serve the included resource pack directly, or choose one of the four item-plugin configurations. Do not install all four copies of the same assets.
Nexo, ItemsAdder and CraftEngine item rewards are optional. Vault is optional for money rewards. Oraxen is supplied as a model/item configuration; it is not an Oraxen-specific reward hook. Third-party plugin JARs are not bundled.
Quick setup
- Install Plugin/HalloweenCandy-1.0.0.jar in your server's plugins folder and restart.
- Serve ResourcePack.zip through your server resource-pack settings, or install one matching provider folder and rebuild that provider's pack.
- Create a hunt: /candy admin create spooky timed.
- Stand at each checkpoint and add candy: /candy admin addcandy spooky pumpkin_candy.
- Set an optional start area: /candy admin setstart spooky 2.
- Play with /candy start spooky. Use /candy top spooky for scores, /candy list for hunts and /candy leave to leave.
Make it your own
Adjust goals, timers, streak bonuses, cooldowns, replay rules and rewards per hunt. Rewards can include items, console commands and optional Vault money. Import your own Java Block/Item Blockbench models with /candy admin importmodels; the plugin generates resource-pack assets you can merge and distribute. Models using multiple rotation axes per element are reduced to the first supported axis and produce a warning.Validation status
Project testing recorded passing console self-tests on Paper 26.1.1 and 26.2, covering configuration, leaderboards, model conversion, pack generation and display creation/cleanup. Archive integrity and shipped model identities were also checked before publication.Runtime checks still pending: real-player gameplay and visuals, Folia execution, and the Nexo/ItemsAdder/Oraxen/CraftEngine integrations. The supplied provider configurations are prepared integrations, not a claim that every plugin/version combination has been tested. Try the pack on a staging server before a public event.
